Will Paying Cheap Web Hosting Actually Cost you More?
Discover the "not so obvious" truth
We've taken the time to review exactly the best web hosting companies with the cheapest prices. Although in many cases cheap web hosting companies offer nothing more than a slow, not very effective hosting service, we found a few cases where companies were offering great services with a lot of benefits.
We evaluated top hosting companies like Yahoo, 1&1, Godaddy, HostGator, Midphase, Powweb, Bluehost, Bluefish, Web.com and many others. Once we reviewed them all we were left only with the top 3 companies.
Out of these, we made a review of which offers the best value and the best price. We take account things like:
Customer Service and Online Support: We want great support, and we want it 24 hours a day. We want it to be there for us by online chat, mail, and phone. If it does have them all, then it qualifies.
-Bandwidth: We want the cheapest plan a company offers to offer a minimum of 30 GB's of bandwidth.
-Features: We want it to come fully packed with everything you need or may need at any point of your website's existence: MySQL databases, PHP, CGI, PERL, unlimited email accounts, Free Blog installation, Domain Stats and keywords people used to find your website, Free Shopping Cart and anything else you might need, we want it to have it all.
-Addon Domains: This is a secret most people don't know but there are companies that allow you to host many domains in a single account without paying anything extra for it. This can save you plenty of money every month if you have more than one domain name.
-Value For Price: This is the overall value of their service matched against the price you pay.
After our thorough review, here are the ratings for the top 3 web hosting companies of the web:
1&1 Web Hosting
(Three and a half stars)

Visit 1&1 Web Hosting
Cheap domains and cheap web hosting that is just perfect for beginners.
The Good :
- Cheapest prices. Hosting plans that go from $2.99.
- No setup Fee.
- 500 email accounts
- Free domain included.
- Add unlimited domains
The Bad:
- Small bandwidth capacity.
- You have to pay at least 6 months in advance.
- Everything is limited: MySQL databases, subdomains, and email accounts.
- Slow support. Email and phone suport doesn't cut it like online 24/7 support.
The Veredict:
Perfect for beginners. Although it's required to pay 6 months in advance, it's price and service is undeniably great starting at $2.99.
However, when looking for something with more power and flexibility for further expansion, the more expensive hosting plans may fall short to their value for price.

- Online Support for you 24/7 by online chat, email or phone.
- No contract. You can sign up for just one month and there's no setup fee.
- 30 Day Money Back Guarantee.
- Unlimited email accounts, unlimited subdomains, unlimited ftp accounts.
- Uses Cpanel, which is very easy to use.
- Unlimited MySQL databases.
- Detailed site statistics.
- Add Wordpress blogger and shopping cart for free.
The Bad:
- Does not give anonymous ftp and unique IP's, which can be useful in some cases.
The Veredict:
Host Gator is the ultimate solution for people who don't want any kind of limitations. This is a company that offers outstanding value, and has overdelivered on our expectations. We recommend getting the "baby crock" account or better since those are the ones that give you the most benefits.
